Do I really have to go? – WW2 Poem – By Mollie S05-05-2017 | 22:59:29 | No Comments

Do I really have to go?

I`m at the railway station,

Tears dropping on the ground like marbles.

Adults crying, children screaming,

I am too, oh no,

Why do I have to go?

Bombs crashing, houses smashing,

Bits of bomb everywhere!

My mum, my dad, my family,

There all here can’t you see?

They are crying too, oh no,

Do I really have to go?

Parents calling, children waving,

All saying, ` I love you`,

None of us want to but, oh no,

Now I really have to go!
